Ibanez SR605L NTF

Recommended Posts

I bought this bass new, as a back up to my workhorse TRB5 at a time when I was gigging regularly. This bass has never been out of the house and has been played a handful of times as the Yamaha never let me down.

The sound from this bass is amazing - it's physically smaller than the Yamaha but the Bartolini pickups pack such a punch you can roll the volume right off. Great range of sounds available.

It is used but absolutely unmarked, as it left the showroom.

No gig bag, but will package well if you want me to send it. Would prefer pick up or will meet somewhere for cost of fuel if a reasonable distance.

Any questions please PM me.

General sales blurb:

-Ash body with deep double-cutaway profile

- Natural finish allows the beautiful grain of the body to shine through

- 5-piece jatoba/bubinga neck with SR5 profile across a 34-inch scale length
Extended neck joint enables easier upper fret access

- 24 medium-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone oval position inlays

- Pair of Bartolini MK1 split-coil pickups
EQB-IIIS 3-band EQ with mid frequency switch

- Black matte hardware finish complements the natural finish

- Excellent bass guitar for performers and session players who demand tonal versatility, comfortable playability, in an understated form.

Hi Mrt20,

I'm currently looking for a leftie 5 string for a friend of mine. I think your Ibanez would satisfy the criteria that he would want.

Is it still available? If so, please let me know as l'll hopefully be seeing him in the not too distant future...

I just got my hands on an SR375 leftie...if I'd noticed this earlier I'd have given you a shout. Very nice instrument you have and the black hardware really goes with the Natural finish.
