My GT6b is on the blink and there are several GT-10b units for sale on ebay from Japan. how are they still getting these when they are a discontinued product? My query is, they must be years old so wont the internal battery have lost some of its capacity or does it not come into play until it starts being used?
Extortionate price too because they know there's not been a new Boss multi-fx for bass since.
Would be great if there was a GT100b!

If it sounds good, use it. If not, change settings until it does.
If I actually wanted a Ricky through an Ampeg, I'd have got one ages ago. If the model sounds useful then QED, whether it actually sounds like the 'real thing' or not.
VB-99 part-timer.

How can you use cosm guitar amp modeling for a bass?

Signal goes in, signal comes out. Simples. Whether one likes the result or not is, of course, a matter of individual taste (or lack of...). Any and all mash-ups are feasible, some sound better than others, that's all.

Having used various bass & guitar stomp boxes in the past - as well as dedicated bass-multi fx units i have settled on the Boss GT-10 Guitar fx pedal - which is an awesome unit.

I'm wired via the 4cm but don't really use the cosm as use my Ampeg head & P-Bass for the tone.

It's features are well beyond what i need - but the effects that i use (although small) sound exactly how i need them to.
