£1500

After much deliberation I’ve decided to put my ACG Headless Harlot 5-string up for sale as I gig very rarely now and have no need for a 5-string. Since I had it made 6 years ago it has had minimal use and has never been gigged so it’s as new.

It has a wicked tone, a great action and very easy and comfortable to play thanks to the asymmetric neck shape. This is a superb example of Alan’s work.

34-inch scale
Swamp Ash body core
Asian Ebony top/veneer.
Through 5 piece flame maple/wenge neck
Acrylic Flame Sycamore neck – no dots
Dual Action trussrod
Carbon neck rods
Blue LED via fiber-optic side dots
Black hardware
Hipshot Ultralite Tuners.
Hipshot Type A bridge - 18mm spacing
ACG String anchor
RFB humbucker bridge pick-up with coil switching
RFB Single coil neck pick-up.
John East Filter Pre-amp.
Schaller Straplocks.
Status strings
Fusion Gigbag

Would possibly consider trade for US or Japanese Precision with 'B' neck plus cash my way.

As already stated I am not looking for a 5 or a 6-string bass.

All trade offers by PM please, not in this thread.

I think the current one does both but not sure whether there were earlier incarnations. Gorgeous bass BTW, neck-through not longer available from ACG so grab this whilst you can people.

That's lovely. Does the ACG string anchor allow for the use of standard strings, or do they have to be double ball ends?

Double Ball End. Currently strung with Status strings.
