This Harley Benton was a Sunburst originally so I decided to scrape all that paint and laminate off and did this;

What went wrong Dad :) ? Ya know, me from another continent, humor wise can be challenging to get it ;)

Here is the sound check; it sounds OK-ish through the Plexi Tone on my Digitech RP70. I will get some better vintage pup in the future maybe Entwistle or else ...

Apologies; I'd overlooked that. Just 'pulling your leg', 'joshing', 'ragging you'; that's to say: light teasing, meant to be humorous. Yes, the guitar looks fine. Maybe I'm just jealous..? :blush:

I agree, the bass makers sure go much more into plain oiled wooden bodies which looks awesome. Guitar makes just love that darn lacker and paint don't they :D
I was thinking to make a few relic bodies like this and also relic the hardware and then sell it on ebay as a DIY Kit. Will see when I have time for this though ...
