Bass-playing Slebs

Curtley Ambrose (the famous West Indian fast bowler) was on Radio 5 this afternoon, he admitted his current favourite pastime is playing bass in a reggae band...respect!

Phil Jupitus of Never Mind the Buzzcocks etc is a bassman. I hear he bought a 60th. Anniversary P bass from Reddog Music in Edinburgh.

I saw him in PMT Southend once, being an absolute arse to the very helpful guy behind the till.

Pretty sure I saw some footage of the late Mike Smith (DJ) playing bass a few years ago- I can't confirm via google due to the popularity of the name
