Moos3h Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Hi all My Dad and I made an Ampmaker amp over Christmas and absolutely loved the whole experience. We now want to look at other projects and I really fancy making my own on board three band EQ and preamp (perhaps with a couple of switches for extra stuff too). The patient bass that it will end up in is a Cort GB74 so a U-retro would drop straight in but we are dead keen to build something. Does anyone know of any guides plans or kits we could look at? UglyDog Posted January 18, 2015 Share Posted January 18, 2015 There are several schematics and vero layouts for 2 band EQs online -- Stingray, Sabre, Sadowsky, Alembic even -- but i haven't yet found a 3 band one. This week I just finished up my own version, with a more modern opamp and film caps instead of tantalums. Seems pretty good so far, haven't tried a gig with it just yet though.
