Hello fellow bass players. I recently purchased a 100 Watt Fender PA 100, i'm not sure what cab would be a good match. It doesn't need to be Extremely loud and I would prefer a cab that isn't huge. Possible a 2x12 or something similar. Due to my limited funds (£200-300) i'm looking to get a single 4 ohm cab, unless someone an recommend a couple of 8 ohm cabs that are very affordable. Would rather get something second hand so i can get more bang for my buck. Any suggestions?

Thanks, James

Have a flick through the classifieds as there's often a bargain to be had in older (heavier, sorry!) Peavey or Laney speakers. These cabinets but are more likely to be single fifteens or multiples of ten rather than loaded with lightweight 12" drivers as these seem to be very popular at the minute.

Hope that helps.

Fender PA100 great amps, most any cab will sound good with it. But it is only 100 watts, so efficiency and/or multiple drivers may be necessary. And the speaker cab has a big effect on your tone so.... The more you can narrow down the tone your looking for the easier for us to help you out.
