What would it be worth if it hadn't been owned by God???

So used (& a bit grimy) that'd be what - £350 - £400?

Jon.

Finally sold for £2957 - shows that Mick is still highly regarded.

Really the only instruments owned by Mick Karn that would be worth buying from a collector's PoV are the Travis Bean he used for most of his work with Japan and the 81 Wal that replaced it.

Given that Mick didn't get the credit nor money that he deserved from his work with Japan, I'm not too displeased to see his estate benefitting in this way.

Fair point, no problem with that. I still think the buyer's exhibiting weapons-grade stupidity.
