One more pic: Basschatter Chris Sharman and his awesome, cake-providing other half :) :sun_bespectacled:
No-one offered me any cake... :( I could have done with some at about 3.45pm each day! haha!

Great guys! Really, really helpful and not at all pushy!

They are indeed, met them at the Birmingham show where I got chance to gave a good nose at the Multiamp presets ( amazing piece of gear) and saw them at London but didn't get chance to see what other goodies they had :-)

:D
And here is the Markbass team! :)

I was really pleased to hear that they are now holding MarkBass stock in the UK rather than having to wait to get everything from the European warehouse. Quite a big investment to do this but it'll really help us to get things faster in the future :)

Anyone else try the MultiAmp at the show?

I couldn't resist bringing one back to play with but haven't had a chance to even turn it on yet!

Just for info, I'm not actually employed by MSL (sadly - I wish! Thats me on the right), just help out with shows and events, but I'm certainly very passionate about the gear. Over the weekend we probably did one in three demos on the MultiAmp - it got lots of attention - and it is well worthy of it!

I also took one home after the show, and I haven't even had time to un-box it yet!

I did however, spend loads of time working with it over the weekend. A couple of people said "perhaps too complicated for me...". I can understand why people may think that at first sight, particularly if you, like me, tend not to use pedals. But like any new tech, it really isn't that complicated once you get some time with it. My take on it is that, using it live I will probably configure half a dozen user presets for the type of gig I am doing (a clean LM3 or Big Bang, a TTE500, a Fender-esque rig, an Ampeggy one, and maybe a Slappy one), set it how I need it for the gig and leave it like that; and its nothing short of utterly brilliant if you use in-ears and DI straight into the PA.

However, if you have a pedal board, then you'll add a MIDI controller like a SoftStep (I've already got one for my X32 digital desk), and halve the number of pedals you currently have on your board (it has all the MB pedals and quite a few more), and stick them through the effects loop, which can also be switched in and out using MIDI, along with punching onboard effects in/out, controlling volume pedal, tap tempo, etc, etc....

If anyone in the west country wants to see it, I be happy to show you. I live near Honiton, and I'm up and down to Truro weekly.
Nice photos. Do you know if the bass was finished on the Martin stand? I would like to see a photo of that. I was particularly struck with the tiny wood planes they were using
Your banner on the Facebook page has me looking forward to the warm summer weather :)
Yes, i liked the Rikkers. I wouldn`t mind one. The owners seem like nice people as well. I might have to save my money ready for next year

Nice blog. That Rikkers left handed was so nice. Also seeing the photo of the Beatles Bass again on the Hofner stand has made me think i missed a real bargain. I was offered it at such a good price, but walked away. I got a couple of books from Bassline Publishing. Well written and easy to follow with good explainations. There was also a green coloured ACG that i really liked. Unfortunately they were all right handed. In fact, there was so much nice gear, it would be impossible to list it all.
