Les Posted November 3, 2014 Share Posted November 3, 2014 Fellow shorties, resurecting this as I've just realised I have a set of Thomastik Infeld flats that I had on for a month then decided I prefered rounds. If anyone would like to try them but is put off by the 45 quid price tag I'd be happy to chuck them in the post to do the rounds as I doubt I'll ever put them back on. Bear in mind that they are MEDIUM scale strings cos' the Mustang is through body stringing so needs the extra length. They are 43 56 70 106 in guage. I found the Medium Scale fit the SG Std. better than Short Scale, by putting the silks above the nut, and not to high to into the tuning peg.
