First saw that song just before his death.

Docu is good, but not great.

But a really interesting story.

Just seen the documentary, really interesting and bittersweet. Loved their idea of subverting Skrewdriver songs. Cheers for the heads-up on this, such a shame about Omar.

Someone once told me off for listening to Swervedriver because "their name sounds like skrewdriver" 🙄

Just when I thought I'd heard all of those early 70's heavy psych/rock with touches of prog I happened upon this band from Finland no less. There's harmonica, flute and sax chucked in at times with strong guitar and bass as a foundation. Apparently its quite rare which probably means it didnt sell very well but I really liked it. Stop laughing at the back over the title or it's detention.

I lived in Finland for 16 years and never came across Charlies Buttocks!

(Never thought I'd be typing yet!!)

@LukeFRC I liked the slight huskiness in her vocals on the Deezer sessions - shame there isn't a single YT vid that shows the whole performance.

My favourite cover of Blinding Lights. I've been subscribed to Anna Sentina's channel for some time, and this is a great collaboration.

@bartelby haven't heard that for along time - I've got that track on a CD somewhere - their 1st *I think* - so long ago. Always good to be reminded.
