What are you listening to right now?

Recommended Posts

Specifically listening to band homework...Chris Stapleton, Brett Eldredge, Kenny Chesney etc.

For the first time in my life the songs I'm playing in a band are the songs I listen to at home. And it is an absolute joy!

The Bros Landreth - Let it Lie

Wouldn't really class this as 'my thing' but I bought it for the Mrs and love it. Rootsy Americana type stuff in an early Jackson Browne/Eagles vein with some lovely songs.

Sarah Jarosz. Found her yesterday on Spotify and am very impressed. Looking forward to getting acquainted with her three album back catalogue.

I've got seriously into audiobooks of late. There are loads on youtube. Currently listening to David Baldacci's "The Last Mile". Recent ones include Jaws, The Silence Of The Lambs, Red Dragon, The Diary Of A Nobody.

Just been listening to the band's older songs. We haven't had a practice for a couple of months. Getting together this evening for a quick blast through the old stuff before getting back to writing new ones...

Robert Glasper Trio.

It's more trad jazz than his later stuff with the Robert Glasper Experiment but still very pleasant.
