Well, I'm trying to see if there's anybody else out there, who loves this gear as much as I do ! I do have quite a collection now, and as soon as I can get to use my IPhone camera, I'll start putting up pics. In the mean time, anyone got pics of their ACC gear.

I have a love of ACC gear! I used to run a 470 with a Paulman 4x10 cab. Moved it on because I couldn't get the cab into the back of a VW Polo

We've got an Acoustic Model 120 at home though, recently had a service and sounds great!

Hi Skinner
Love the 320-408 setup, and easy to move, as long as there's no stairs ! Last time I used mine, had the volume up to nearly 1 and a half on the dial.

Hi Goblin, Yep great amps, the 470, but glad to hear you still have a 120.

Hi 4stringthing,
Nice rig you have there, the 220;s do punch above their weight. Do you still have the original speakers in your 402, I tried 3015;s in mine for a while, superb, especially outdoors.

trying, but can't, upload photos of my 361 restoration, am giving up now, it's been 2 hours. I seem to have used up my photo allowance doing it, but not managed to upload anything ! Strange !
Pity, as the cab needed extensive work, but is looking great now, just waiting for it's new tolex.

Yes, Those original speakers seem to have a sweeter, more pleasant tone, the emi's are quite dry in comparison 'nother go at 361 photo's .
Technically, the cab is known as the 301, this is the early version.

A lot of the 301's sound is the original Cerwin Vega (red cambric surround) driver, tried the boxes I've had (where the drivers came blown: couldn't find a replacement/recone for love nor money) with others but never the smooth sound... Used a 320 with a 406, 370 with a 301 and 406 and a 220 with all sorts of cabs... but never had a 408 (4x15) band I used to go and see in Glasgow in the 80's (Chou Pharot) used the 320/408 combination... mental in a pub setting!!!
Keep the faith.

Hi Rumour6,
Some good combinations there, I'm going to try my 320 with a 406 when I get a chance, but will use EV's in the cab, or maybe Kappalites , far easier to transport than the 408.
The 18". Cerwin Vegas are a problem, I have 1 original working, and 2 to go for re-coneing, will have to check the spec with the re-coner before I let him loose. Thanks for the tip.
Hi Discreet.

Heard a rumour that Acoustic are back in business stateside? Richard Turner of Blackberry Smoke talks about using them in the states on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Pix9jD0PJs unless he's referring to old stuff?

Here is a Pick of my 370 Head,

Purchased off ebay along with a 270 head about 3 years ago. Unfortunatly that was so bad i had to use some parts for the 270 head, Transformer been the main thing as the 370 had a 110v transformer inside.

I re-capped it, changed resistors where needed, still hass the orignal Output transistors! Some of the Sliders were too far gone but i had some in a box of bits from an old hifi i stripped years ago, knew there was a reason i kept crap like that!...New Tolex and Retro knob's it's all done.

I have to say i love it! I only use it in a rock band i play in as i tend to use my Mark B Little tube for most gigs. But when i play a big venue i know i take this and my Rickenbacker, and they are such a great match! When you switch in the bright it goes twang crazy!! And when pushed it breaks up nice.

This is a strange move for me i usualy like a solid clean bass tone having used EBS, Mark, Trace etc but still like it!!!

I use it with a Markbass Classic line 6x10 or a Peavy I think its a 1810 in rehearsal. That sounds cool too.
