Isolation pad between amp and cab

For some years I've used some of the styofoam that came as packing for a PC as an insulator (same four bits have been in my bag for ages) but it's primary function was to lift the amp clear of a handle mounted on the face that was on the top of the cab... I'm sure that is all you'd need. ;)

Someone on here made a rather tidy looking pad from black closed cell foam bought on ebay, and then cut a slot for the cab handle and locating holes for the amp feet. Others have used mouse mats to do the same job.

That would be me! Closed cell foam for a fiver from ebay, cut with a stanley knife and holes made by hand using a large drillbit.

That's the ticket.

I'm ripping off your idea should I ever need something 'twixt amp and cab. :)
