Annoying Twit Posted February 20, 2014 Share Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) The Farida looks very nice, but it doesn't sound very powerful played fingerstyle @5:30. That may be playing or how he has the EQ/Amp settings. It sounds like he has it set up for slap, and plays fingerstyle because he has to. (I think I noticed his hand in 'slap shape' just before he starts the fingerstyle. To me it sounds like a Jazz, but not as powerful as some. Really enjoyed his playing in the 'Jaco' section, and the last bit though. But when the tone rolls off, it does sound a bit ... subtle. (I'm listening on AKG K-240 headphones).
