I'm there as well atm.. must of spent a fortune this far anyway.
(I'm trying to learn to be happy with what I've got) a bit of money coming in from gigs now and it's nice to spend it on something other than bass gear :)

Strangely enough, nothing at present.

I must be ill.

I was in that place and was quite content until I saw the new(ish) Squier VM Bass VI, I'll take one in Olympic white please. Absolute bargain if there as good as they look.

For some reason, I've got serious gas for something in a burst, with a maple neck (5er of course). As I like the playability of Sandberg Basics so much, my head tells me it would be either a Basic or Basic VM, but I do really like the look of those Bass Mods K5s..... 35" scale is the only issue for me though.

One of these. Never really wanted one of these, always played precisions and the odd jazz but love the colour of this and now I want one. Would have to go for Epiphone though as Gibson is out of price range. Would love to get one repainted in a vintage white. Doable? How much?

If I had a spare £3k to blow . I keep going back to the Mike Lull JAX T4 Jeff Ament in Cardinal red at Bassdirect .

Always fancied a T- Bird .

Oh dear, forgot about that. Yep me too on that one!

Sheesh - So I've got:
Matamp GT200,
Barefaced 69'er,
Mike Lull J.A. Thunderbird...

Really?

Wal mk 1 with a blue stain top and natural back.

Fender 60's Precision, earlier the better.

Alembic Mark King.

And the £10,000+ I'd need to buy those basses.

An Ashdown Valve rig, to support that gear with small cabs so I could gig the back out of them.

And finally, a band made up of the great musicians I know, but are too busy to join.

Gah.

Dean Stylist Cabbie
Eatwood Rocket (any colour)
Fender Coronado (CAR)
Gretsch Electromatic short scale
Shortscale Gibson Thunderbird
Fiesta red Precision (pref an 80's 62 RI)
ARIA SB-CB Black

Anyone got any of these they want rid of? Especially the first two!!!

Amp wise: Nothing really. Maybe a Heritage SVT and 810 or a Bassman TV 210

I reckon getting all of these would finally sort out my GAS. Game over man!!

I've got GAS for two things, but no money.

Amazingly I have no real GAS at the moment, which is just as well because I also have no money either...........although I do like that red Esh that is floating around.

Something like this would be nice, sonic blue, rosewood board, tort scratchplate, blank headstock, close to perfect.

I'm not massively GASsy though, I'm quite happy with my P Bass and my amp, although I'd prefer that the neck on the P Bass didn't have the plastic truss rod access that you have on Mexican Fenders, it just looks wrong and a bit cheap IMO.

Also, I'm perpetually GASsing for one of these:

Serious Wal GAS at the moment... Got a quote for a sixer with a Purpleheart top, its the 17 Month wait that's even more painful than the price...

Generally though what I want changes on a daily basis, given the choice I'll take one of everything please... except a ric cause they're pants...
