Latin styles on the bass

So I just had another cruise ship audition, it went quite well this time hopefully I'll get something out of it. One of the only things I was unsure about was when he asked me to play a few basslines in various different latin styles. Like a Cha Cha groove, Rumba, Tango and a few others. I have studied jazz at Uni and we never got taught about this styles in depth. Now I'm in the real world, its time to wise up before I go on a cruise. Anyone got any pointers?

Ps. Here's the contents page so you can see what's there (there is a book 2 also but I haven't used it myself)

There may be more comprehensive books out there but this is a good introduction for sure.
