I owned this bass for about a year in 08/09 and I nearly had it back off Richard once but he decided to hold on to it at that time.
I mean it when I say I haven't owned a bass with a better fit and finish than this Valenti. Everything about its construction was just spot on and playing it was effortless and inspiring. If I had the funds for it these days I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I'm the same - I bought it in a spate of buying jazz basses - and ended up with something else. In retrospect... I probably should have held onto this one and given it longer.
I know that if I had the cash, or if my JV sold, this would be on my list of basses to look at - and if it did beat the thumb bass i kinda want I would have no hesitation in buying this back.
