Hiya everyone just bought a behringer bkl450 combo no laughing please.it clicks when I crank it up is this normal or do I need something with more poke got rehearsal wknd really don't want to make a show of myself last drummer I played with was really loud been a while since I played live so sorter got roped in or is time to ditch the combos and go for a head and cab any ideas be much appreciated .kev

If it is, then at 45 watts you're going to be struggling in a band context. As Ray says probably better with 250-300 watts.

The clicking might be distortion of the speaker. Lower powered amps can do this when you crank them up. Best keep the volume down and just use it for home practice. Get hold of a bigger amp for band work. Have a look through the amps for sale in 'The Marketplace' here on Basschat. Usually some good bargains and you can usually depend on the guys selling here.
