Custom Overwater Perception 5 String (a beauty)
£1500

I'll be really sorry to see this go, but I just don't play it anymore and it deserves to get played!

I had this custom made from Overwater about 4 years ago and it's literally in perfect condition - a real thing of beauty. The top is a burle maple and has loads of character, bolt-on neck with a 5-piece neck (wenge with maple stringers so it's sort of striped, see pics). Bound maple neck with maple headstock, black hardware. Maple pick up covers. Also has BOTH 1/4" jack AND XLR output as well which has occasionally been handy to DI the bass straight from the guitar.

I paid exactly £2,740 for this and reckon £1,500 is a fair asking price as it's mint, but will take the highest offer. Also have a hard case to go with it as well.

The sound of this bass is pretty bright and springing with a punchy mid and a present (but not overly growling) bottom end. Very even tone throughout and sounds good on a record. Photos don't do full justice - it's a beautiful guitar!

A couple have asked about specs, so have copied the order form below:

i can pay you £1200 for it? :)
[/quote]

Uncool, best if you deal in PM's when making an offer on a bass, its much more civilised and it does'nt detract from the value the seller has set on his item, publicly!

Sorry! my mistake, I'm new to Basschat- no offense, rudeness, or unfunky behaviour intended! :(

Welcome to Basschat, if you read the rules and look at the vibes on the forum you'll get a good grounding. PM's keep it all between interested parties, no tears or tantrums. Simples ;)
