I,m a terrible compilation album junkie :(

Me, too. But I burn my own. There's one that never seems to come out of the player, which has a weird mixture of stuff including-

Tool
Gotye
Vangelis
Iron Maiden
Ra
Bjork
Helmet

But everyone seems to like it. Even the kids (?!)

"Dedicated" - Cropper's tribute to the Five Royale's; the band who inspired him to play.

Had the real pleasure of meeting and talking to The Colonel a few weeks ago. He was a gentleman and even though he was just about to go on stage, had all the time in the world for me.

Bill Evans Trio - Live At The Village Vanguard
Voodoo Glow Skulls - Baile De Los Locos
De La Soul - De La Soul Is Dead
Everything Everything - Man Alive
Ben Folds Five - The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind

You may be interested to know that Cropper's among the artists doing a mass gig at The Whitehouse on the 16th; which if it works over here is being broacast live from a link within this link http://music.broadwa...SE-416-20130402
I've no idea how "featured" he'll be in it though.

Good job you have a record player in your car then!

After I bought it I told Cropper that he caused a fight between me & my other half,
"Oh my God, what did I do?" he says.
"She says you wrote "30 second lover" about me", says I.
He looked puzzled for a second then laughed so much he sprayed red wine out, "You got me, - but *whispering* really it means the opposite of that, it's a compliment for you".

I didn't realise there was a live recording of the album till you said that...gives me something to chase up next payday :)

I don't have a car but both God Damn Whores albums are currently all I'm listening to on my Walkman and would definitely be in my car if I had one. If that counts.

Was that the Morecambe gig? There was a group of guys there, one of who had been to the original 67 tour.
