Squier/Fender ideal for BEAD tuning?

Cool, cheers guys!

I guess any well constructed instrument should be able to deal with it well. I suddenly remembered that years and years ago I use a Stagg something-or-other and I tuned that to BADG and it handled the B admirably.

No reason why it shouldn't. The average low B string is usually much lower tension than a high G. If anything you might need to slacken the truss rod off slightly.

Yup! Squier Vintage Modified Precision to be exact, and it worked really well. Once I realised it was going to work for gigging I went a bit further and put Schaller locks, a BAII and a SD Quarter Pounder on it too, but the change of bridge was purely aesthetic and nothing to do with the stringing; the BBOT it came with was on it for a few months and worked absolutely fine. Mine's actually set up for use in C,F,Bb,Eb but worked fine in BEAD when I first modified it.

And since pictures prove it happened...
