OK, I can't resist. Here's my orange one.

Juicy!

Lordy, that is spectacular.

My mate's got a couple of Bongos and is always trying to convert me. As he's left handed and I'm "NORMAL", it's not as if I can play his so I've yet to try one.

The function band's themed colour is Orange and one of these would be just fit the bill ;-)

Good spot sir Lol.

Yep every I speak to Funkle Dave, he tells me I should be getting a Bongo. When someone that good tells you to try something, it's probably worth trying.

It's all about what works for you - he's a thumper and I'm a tickler! Like chalk and cheese. The thing which interests me most about the Bongo though, is the circuit.

Thanks guys :) Needless to say I'm very happy with it, and feel lucky to have such a generous mum and girlfriend to make it happen!

Nice. Orange working well with maple and white there. is it Capri Orange?
[/quote]

Cheers, not original finish, but I refinished it in Capri Orange, also I changed the black pickguard for an off-white one and added black screws to to make the whole thing consistent with the 'international series' that the Capri belongs to.
As I bought it stripped, and I kept all the original bits, I consider it no less original now :-)

You know, I saw this exact spec bass at an auction in Reading maybe 20 years ago. They had a matching Stratocaster up as well. I always wondered what it sold for. It did look awesome and that my friend looks lovely.
