I've just wandered back into doing the covers/pubs/funcs thing after 4 years out and...woah, I know the economy was on a downer (last I was around the 'smoking ban' was the BIG worry) but hellfire, it's a drought out there. Then, the smokers go into the beer garden... I dont know if i do get in another band, if its gonnabe worth the hassle. 2 +years have passed since my last gig. ARGH Posted December 16, 2012 Author Share Posted December 16, 2012 I left the originals gig in june/july...I cant for sh*t remember, but anyway, tried getting somthing simple up and running and the financial outlay was..frankly nuts... and the £££ that was out there... isnt any more. At the moment, one in three carefully targeted emails is getting a positive response from venues.
