They weren't made in huge numbers and Ibanez didn't make them available in Europe. I think it looks [b]so [/b]much nicer than the rosewood and (I didn't mention this on any other post about it) because I think the fretboard-as-tonewood thing is nonsense, I wanted the much-more-sustainable maple. Had a Roadstar II back in the 80's, served me well.... Recently acquired an ATK815 Premium & after a decent set up... I'm loving it! ....A very versatile bass.... Good lord!..... Currently strung with Labella deep talkin' flats. And my ATK 800 bought from this forum. Not sure about age but can't be very old. Sporting a set of DR Lo Riders.
