I'm selling this TRB5

Photo's courtesy of Bubinga5 and again I'll take some more when the sun makes an appearance. Its a mid 90's bass.. the MK1 in really good condition but the bridge has tarnishing.. a few small dings here and there.. the tone is amazing, lots of power with growl and punchy mid range bass.
The Yamaha EQ is externally and internally adjustable, with its internal finger wheels, and pozi drive cut and boost.

I'm looking for £450.

Any trades/combinations considered.

Peter

And here's some photos of the TRB5 Mk1. A bit 'wonky' I know AND I'm sober!

It has a great action and playability this bass. Controls are 2 EQ with a smiley/frowny EQ rotary switch - very effective.

Again a price reduction on consideration, now £450.

Comes with a hard case that's fairly tatty.

Wow, what a beauty. I've had several TRB 6'ers over the years and regretted selling every single one of them. I have now moved to 5 string and would love this. If it wasn't for the recent Ibanez GWB35 purchase made on Friday, I would be having this off you. If it's still here, which I doubt very much, in the next couple of months and I can raise the cash, I will be back. Good luck for a lovely bass B)

This is a flipping bargain, I've had a Mk1 TRB4 for around 20 years and it's brilliant, seen off a load of other basses that I've owned.

Thank you, someone who recognises how good a deal this is :)

Absolutely!

The first bass I ever bought on this forum, back in 'Bassworld' days 6 years ago, was from Peter and it was for the same amount as this is for sale now..

It was a Yamaha TRB1005 and though it was a good bass, it's nowhere near as fine a bass as this one is!

So this really is a good deal..

And, as has been said many times before, Peter looks after all his gear and is a real gentleman to deal with.. So buy with confidence!

GLWTS Peter!

At this price someone should buy themselves an early Christmas present. The Mk1 TRB5 is a quality bass. I've had mine over 12 years and it's still a regular gigging companion. A few years ago I made the mistake of trading it in for something. Went back a couple of days later and got it straight back! Great bass.
