Roland Rock Posted October 10, 2015 Share Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) Lonnie Plaxico's Melange album is probably my favourite album of the genre. This one, Windy City, is quite slap bass, but has superb energy, especially during the solos. What I love about LP's bass playing is that it is soo deep and tight with the rhythm section.
