I have two Five strings ,they are both beautiful but I had a stroke fifteen months ago and to say the least it has been very frustrating on the bass front !!!
I would find a 4 string Precision easier I think.

Nordy VP5 lightweight (Around 8.5 lbs)
Alder body / Rosewood neck
Nordy gig bag.
Very good/ Excellent condition. Bought new from BassDirect around 18 months old.(hardly used )

Price: £1650.00

Consider 4string Precision trade (part or full)
Prefer lightish weight / Maple neck

Unfortunately cannot drive / Available Milton Keynes area near J14 / M1

Sorry to hear this, hope things improve and hang in there.

To all, Flanker is a top bloke to deal with and keeps his instruments in good condition. He also picks good basses and whilst I havent played this one his black Celinder jazz was the best bass I have played.

Thanks guys.
The black one was nice but the red precision was my favourite Celinder, think Kiwi still has it!
In spite of my minor disagreements with Chris they are still my favourite bass, anyone with a four string Celinder precision want to trade????

My wife reckons It's a sure sign i'm getting better!

The nut size doesn't bother me really but I suppose the smaller the better. It's the right hand thats the problem. It's sloooowly coming right and my lovely physios are all quite upbeat. Everybody says the fingers are the last to return.

I don't think it'll ever be back to two fingered Jamiroqai though!!!!

+1, I was thinking about you the other day Steve and wondering how things are. Back in the FS forums is a good sign :)
