I love the crystal radio in amongst the vintage amps, nice touch.
Also the self-restraint, one of everything you need. And all absolute beauties.

Hats off, Sir.

That's a mighty fine looking collection there... What's the red one?
Thanks mate ! Here, I'll decribe all of them !

From left to right:

Dolganoff Ignis 6 fretless (THE ultimate fretless, made by a friend of mine);

Leduc Master Piece MP624 (My big nasty active Jazz bass);

Warwick Rockbass Alien Deluxe (great sounding acoustic);

Modulus Quantum Turbo 6 (aka the ultimate stingray bass);

Modulus Quantum Hollowbody 6 (my ultimate modern bass).
Looks like you've got everything covered! I love the look of the Leduc, not seen one of those before and I've always been a fan of modulus basses.

How do you find playing fretless on a sixer? I play a six string fretted bass (pretty much always have) but I tend to keep things simple on fretless and I just have a four string.

Yes, that's what I think as well, mate ! Everything covered, and ready for all situations. A P-sounding bass could be a good thing, but I can actually get a pretty good P sound if I play on the neck pickup of my Leduc and my Hollowbody Modulus.

As for your question regarding the fretless... Actually, I've nearly always played on sixers...

I've been playing for... nearly 12 years now, and I've played sixers since my 2nd year of bass playing. That's why I chose a 6 as a fretless bass. However, the only 34' inch scale basses I have are the Warwick and the fretless. The Leduc is 34.5", and the 2 Modulus are in 35". That's why it's a bit of a hassle to play the fretless these days... I'm thinking of having it fretted and have the "Dominique Di Piazza" bridge installed on it, but I don't want to alter it's MAGNIFICENT fingerboard.

Here's a close-up of the fingerboard, btw (old pic, but still accurate) :

Not quite everything, I have a G&L L2000 Tribute out of shot, but this is my current setup :)

Three custom builds (Moollon P, Peterbuilt fretless J and Wal Mk3 fretted six), Glockenklang Blue Soul and Bergantino CN210.

Awaiting a new build fretless Wal sixer around this time next year and looking for a berg CN112 to complete my set up, covering all my needs and leaving me GAS free...

... yeah right :unsure:
