So did anybody go last night? I thought they were bloody stunning and the double hit of Groundhog's Day and Wynona at the end left me smiling all the way home.
Can't wait for tonight.

Although Les's solo during Tommy The Cat did make me just want to put my bass down and try a different instrument.

I woz there ! as they say, hat stealin son of a b*&%h

Great gig, but i must admit to being a bit gutted that i hadn't gone on Wed now, I really wanted to hear Sailing the seas of cheese, Tommy the Cat in particular so i lucked out big time. Wasn't like that in the old days, if you saw a gig one night it was the same the next (more o less), i wasn't expecting that one..

Still, Les makes everything bass related look so damn easy.

simply excellent. for a wee moment, i thought les was going to butt out after the hat incident in a spoilt rock star fashion, but he reinstored my faith like a true f***ing bass player ! ;)

I left feeling absolutely buzzed! What an awesome gig! The front of house sound was spot on and Les was on form. A life long ambition that I can finally put a tick next to! Really wished that Herb was on drums though.

Really??

My drummer came with me and he said exactly the same... I thought the drumming was outstanding myself....shows what I know!

Oh, I am not putting down the new bloke at all. I thought he was awesome on the night and I love his work on the new album. I thought that Brain before him was the mutts nuts too. Les wouldn't hire a crap drummer, that’s for sure. Herb is a stunning drummer and played on most of their best stuff, so I guess it’s a nostalgia thing more than anything else.
