As I don't deserve anything better due to lack of talent, I got this mint Nevada for seventy quid off the 'bay' and dropped the Emg's in with a new wiring harness. It's been proffesionley set up which cost more than the original price.

Got my first guitar a few weeks ago, wanted 1 for a few years now and after a backdated pay bump at work I thought I'd treat it as a belated birthday present to myself

It's an '09 Gibson SG Standard, the dealer who sold it to me told me that it'd had never been played as the guy who brought it originally didn't play guitar and only used it to pose for a few photos as his missus was a photographer. It's been sat under a bed unused and unplayed since, it even came with the pickguard film still on!

Took a bit of getting used to coming from a 35" 5 String with 19mm spacing but having a lot of fun with it :D

Very handsome. I installed a Dimarzio bridge pup in one of these a few weeks back, made it sound even more awesome than it already was :)

I got this a few weeks back, such a good quality guitar for not much dosh. I wonder how much better the U.S. built versions are.

Anyway, it's great, plenty of tonal options, comfortable to play and to me, a pleasing design.

Go on then...

Eggle Tony Iommi sig, bought this in 1995, now has a pair of Gibson Iommi pickups in it.

Black home made strat - Warmoth neck, ebay body, Duncan JB and a Kahler trem. Used this for every Acrid Nebula gig tuned to dropped A. Yowzers.

Bacchus Empire. Picked this up second hand off the ubox. It has the best coil tap you'll ever hear and is pretty swish in superstrat mode too. Another well gigged guitar.

Bacchus Duke. Again, bought from Japan a few years ago. I love this guitar more than is healthy.

Bacchus T Master. Another u-box steal. This has the nicest neck of any guitar in the world.

Tokai ES130. Bought on the strength of playing a mates ES120. Gorgeous tone and a really nice player.

I have an Ibanez RG550, love the neck, but my luthier says its warped.I changed the pickups last week to Steam Hammers neck and bridge and Pig Iron middle. Sounds beefier. But I also have an Ibanez SA120 where I had Hotslags in the bridge and Rolling Mills in the teck and this sounds phénoménal. Better than the RG550. IronGear sell some excellent pickups for half the price.

Bacchus strat in whiteburst finish, now with a set of Van Zandt pickups. Lovely player too.

Ibanez RG550. Every home should have one. The original pickups were gack but it really shines with some EMGs.

Bravewood s-type with Brazilian slab board. Best strat I have played, owned for 10 years or so.

On display at the V&A recently, the Hendrix Monterey festival strat and a 55 LP he also owned. Sorry for poor picture quality.

My current favourite guitar.
Yamaha AEX 500 hybrid.
Lovely piezo 3 band eq and mini bucker.
Everything from sparkling highs to jazz box lows. Strung with nickelwounds 12's.
Use it with my Trace acoustic amp.
I always rated these guitars and should have bought one when they were readily available; definitely a keeper.

My latest acquisition. I went out looking for a Les Paul Junior, and came back with this Palir Titan. In the shop (World Guitars, Stonehouse) it was the one I couldn't put down, which is always a good sign - it hasn't disappointed since I brought it home.
