Went to see them as a kid at the Edmonton Sundown Theatre about 4 years after that was recorded and the same vibe came through on that gig as on the album.... magic. Gilby Posted November 7, 2011 Share Posted November 7, 2011 Wouldn't say it's a fave but just got the Rush ABC 74 album (the "bootlegged"), Lifesons guitar pans all over the place at times but loving that Geddy aggressive ric. Again not a massive live album fan as such ( been some good ones shouted out already though ) but I do love Floyds Delicate Sound of Thunder. In addition to the above, my personal faves would arguably be Seconds Out by Genesis, Yessongs by Yes and Space Ritual by Hawkwind. Oh, and the Golden Years Live EP by Motorhead! Made In Japan and Made in Europe are up there too....Glenn Hughes's bass tone on MIE is just stunning. I love Matt Garrison's live cd/dvd too.
