CHRISDABASS Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 I know many of us have sold great instruments and lived to regret it! (ive done this a few times) GAS is a terrible thing!! Now it may sound simple but ive come up with a way of really being sure about your current GAS cravings! This can save you lots of money and heartache! All you need to do is treat you and your bass to a really good clean up and a great set of new strings! This brings that bass back to life and reminds you why you bought it in the first place Try it next time your about to sell your number one bass!! it really works! Delberthot Posted September 9, 2011 Share Posted September 9, 2011 I just need to put my Thunderbird on its stand next to where I sit in front of the computer to remind me that there ain't anything that I'd rather have. Its 11 months since I bought it and probably about 10-15 basses have gone through my hands in that time simply because I wanted them, got them, realised I was perfectly happy with what I had and then sold them. And made my fingers smell bad when I played them It's now got some fresh strings but the bass still looks pretty gunky, like all Fenders should be. woolleydick Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Cure for Gas? Well, err, just buy a bass that is actually perfect for you and then you can stop of course! So simple.
