I got it about 4 or 5 years ago for £500 out of sound control. It's funny you say that! I've never seen anyone apart from the bloodhound gang bassist who has one. I think they don't make them anymore which is a shame. The action on it is superb and it makes a beautiful noise :) the only downfall is that it weighs like 16 or 17 lbs
PLEASE tell me you jest! :)
I wish I was good sir! The Washburn is noticably lighter.

Heres the specs on the Shecter

Construction: Bolt-on
• Body: Alder w/ Figured Maple
• Neck: Maple
• Fingerboard: Rosewood
• Frets: 21 Jumbo
• Scale: 35 in.
• Inlays: Black Pearl Offset Dots
• Bridge: Hipshot 'A' w/ Thru Body Option
• Binding: None
• Tuners: Grover
• Hardware: Chrome
• Pickups: EMG 40P5 & 40J
• Electronics: Master Vol/ Blend / EMG BTS Active EQ
• Finish: Dark Vintage Sunburst

It's the figured maple that makes it so heavy I believe

Well I've just sold my previous cab a couple of days ago to a customer from the great country of Slovakia.....

Today, I purchased a couple of nemesis cabs off Jamesent. They still seem to retain a nice warm tone which I'm happy about....and they're less than half the weight of the ampeg haha :)

Hopefully upgrade the head unit next. Get me a little mark or maybe a shuttle 6.0.....

Thanks mate :)
Favourite:
My siennaburst 78 Precision through the VBA400 stack. Unbelievable round, deep and clear P-Bassiness!
It was loud as a halfstack, but got lucky with a second VBC412 so really had to go for it. Though a pain in the a**e to move about (it, like all my rigs, is fully cased). My guitarist nearly s**t herself when she turned up to the studio the other week-and she has a TSL full stack!
Stupidly massive, but ready for that call to Glastonbury

Though my Gibson Studio Tbird V through the Ampeg rig is pretty sweet.
All depends on the gig really.

I use the PJB for my Stagg EUB with the Trace cab-earth moving (with the SUB control on the the Stagg at 3/4 full)!

Here's my new rig, Ampeg SVT 5 Pro and EBS Proline 410 pictured with my Peavey US Millenium Plus (don't seem to see many of these but they are great). Have yet to use it anger as I'm waiting for a band audition in the next couple of weeks but sounds great at home practice levels so I can only assume it will be better when cranked! Probably weighs as much as me but I think it's worth it and it looks great.

Yeah, Me and my mate who does flight cases and stuff, were putting a few together and then he said why not just take some pics and stick em up here.
Would never be able to shift that lot myself-I´m only little! :)

I use the same head and in a live environment it's just brutal.
