Just finishing up yet another DIY amp rig, this time in 1/2 rack width format that can be stacked a couple of different ways or racked side by side in a 2RU effects rack:

The lower box has one of the new 700 watt @ 4 ohm ICEpower modules in it, which I'm really enjoying so far. The cabinet is an AudioKinesis Thunderchild 112, acoustic-friendly version.

[/quote] 1) that the new overwater?
2) your rigs will last longer if you don't leave them in the garden overnight after a gig ;)

That's a LOT of Schroederage! I never need more than my 21012L so can't imagine what this must be like!

I also have the 210L which tops out the 18PL as a 'Stack', about 30Kg all in and some serious trouser flapping from the 18PL. ;)

Ampeg SVT 3 into a Matrix 2000W poweramp running a Zilla 6x12
Found a company called Ampirics that have started to do lazer etched rack lights and i couldn't be happier. (Highly recommended!)

Yes, its heavy,
Yes, Its big,
Yes, its over powered,
Yes, it's very flash.

But I'm in bass heaven atm :)

Here's my small but powerful setup. (Shocking photo- sorry!)
Orange Bass Terror into a Barefaced SuperCompact cab. Sounds great and really loud for the size. May add a second cab in the future but the main aim of this setup is portability.

Just realised my big rig isn't on here.

GK RB1001-II and 2 Tecamp L212s. Loud, deep and not too heavy.

Decided to treat my old Peavey TB Raxx and Classic Series 60 rig to some new valves since they were both still running on the factory originals. Went for a matched pair of Svetlana Winged-C 6L6GCs and four 'premium selected' Electro-Harmonix 12AX7EH, one being 'balanced' for the power amp phase inverter - figured I might as well try to do it properly. Took it out yesterday for an instrumental-only rehearsal while our singer's on holiday and it sounded absolutely huge; my 60W was hanging just fine with a loud drummer and two guitarists who weren't making any allowances, and either the new song we were working on is a really good 'un or I was enjoying the all-valve action more than I expected!

This is my rig as it stands, minus pedal board. Took this when playing the main stage at Willowman Festival this weekend. Sounded mega with a mic and DI!
