Was at the Blues Kitchen in Brixton last night and there was a house band playing R&B/Soul. All good. Apart from they didn't have a bass player 😅.
Made for slightly odd listening.

That sounds like The Atlantic Soul Orchestra. I've played on the same bill with them, at this venue, a couple of times. The bass player is one of the founding members. He must have had the colly wobbles that night and couldn't make it.
