1. 2003 model in good condition, apart from small crack in the lacquer on the headstock which was there when I bought it ten years ago and hasn't gotten any worse. I've stripped the original thick poly coat from the body, grainfilled the wood and refinished with a light stain and clear nitro. Its not a professional job, but as can be seen in the photos, it's very decent. Usual cool features with this model - '59(?) custom shop pickup, 70s style stamped tuners, 50s style ash slab body and Badass II bridge. Weight is 4kg. I'm not overly keen to post if I can help it - would much rather sell to someone who can try it first and confirm they are happy with it, but if you are miles away and interested, we'll see what we can sort out.
2. Cheers for that, so long as its an 8 ohm cab I'm borrowing, I will use my 1x12 as well as a monitor for the drummer. That makes most sense.
3. No, this is the problem. The venue has built a drum riser right at the back in an alcove.
4. Something to amplify the signal then, could use a preamp pedal?
5. Hi, wondering if I can use the DI out of my head to go into a small cab to use as a monitor (via an EQ pedal) for our drummer? Amps won't be mic'ed up so can't take anything out of the desk for this gig, so thought this may work as an alternative, or will I run into impedance problems? Cheers
6. Would you be interested in a swap for a Fender Mike Dirnt Precision?
7. Not strictly bass effects related, however I am looking for a looper type pedal to trigger samples through the PA during a live band set (while also playing bass). Thing is, I'm not completely sure what I'm going to need - have been recommended the Digitech Jam Man Stereo, however there seems to be several different types and I don't really need a memory bank for 99 loops/effects and wondered if there is a more simple solution? I'm assuming any looper pedal with an SD card will work, however I just wanted to see what, if anything, others might be using for this purpose? Cheers.
8. Will go for the Metaphors if you still have it? Cheers.
9. Hi, do you still make the p bass wiring kits? Cheers.

Yes I do - PM sent 😉

10. Anyone used one? https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_custom_line_oc_5_octave.htm
11. Ok, wanted one with an octave up really, but cheers for explaining.
12. I'm interested...how do the controls relate though, ie does it do a sub and high octave?
13. Could be loose speaker screws. My Midget was making a rattling/zinging sound at practice last week when cranked up and playing a B. Took the grill off, tightened the screws and it seems to be sorted, so will add a dab of Loctite next time.
14.
The Midget is designed to work best with the Compact or with another Midget. However, in the current market, even a used BF cab is likely to set you back a lot more money than a used TE cab.
This is the thing...hence my post!
