It's early Gibson-made Era, was produced in 1997. This bass is all original. The bass is a 34" scale neck through with flame maple and purple heart strips 5-pieces. The board is absolutely gorgeous wenge and has recently been oiled with a special wax. The core of body is alder, with wenge and walnut top - sandwich type. The bass has the killer Tobias/Bartolini preamp with Bartolini pickups. When you pull up on the volume control, you get that great scooped sound that makes your slap tone feel like a kick in the nuts. Also it has very versatile 3-band EQ with parametric middle frequencies, very useful and versatile. This bass guitar sounds very modern and focused, has nice juicy taste in sound. Neck-through construction gives long sustain and pleasure gummy attack and modern hi-end electronic makes this bass very stylish sounding beast! This bass has 2 truss rods that allow to setup it as convenient as you want. Now the bass has pretty low action but without fret-buzz. It's very comfortable to play on it.
