i have a hustle drive and shimverb.
Both are very nice pedals, no low end loss and sit well in a mix.
Im looking forward to the pure octave, and the filter pedal coming out.
for the money, they represent great value for money -
These things are circular- there have always been times when the talk has been of how long will any instrument be around.
The challenge is how we maintain relevance and keep up rather than wondering whether the bass player will be made extinct by x or y.
In time it will swing back, but keep moving forward in the mean time -
Isn't/ wasn't hooky an ehx clone theory user?

Hey Dave,
whereabouts are you based mate? -
Really pleased with mine too.
I bought mine at last years bass show. It's been in use ever since!
You're right though- it's flippin 'eavy though!! -
Tbh I've let my subscription lapse.
IMO, the deal to resubscribe was not as good as the first time subscription. Surely it wouldn't be hard to offer even just a fiver off the price. (£38.50 + gift for a newbie vs £38.50 to resub?)
The mag is perhaps worth the occasional one off purchase, but I don't believe it is as consistent as it could be.
Obviously this is all my opinion, ymmv etc.... -
Essentials for me are a tuner, gritty low gain drive and chorus
In reality I use these plus another drive and/ or fuzz dependant on the situation, wah, filter, delay, synth and eq to compensate for differing basses -
Cant wait to try them myself now.
Thanks for posting the vid dude! -
Gear top!

Anything particular in mind?

The talk is that the od is based around the pork loin.
Was never a fan of the PL, but I'll give it a try! It's my duty, being an mxr fanboy!
Apparently, the chorus does have a flanger switch.
The chorus is rumoured to be shipping before the end of the year and the od around namm time (in the states, that is) -
Thanks dude. Unfortunately I'm literally at the other end of the country - Kent!
Good luck with the sale mate -
Hi mate
Whereabouts are you pls? -
Flats would be a good start

With st I saw him using tobias basses among others.
What does it list on the gear blurb on lights, camera, revolution?
If I get a chance, I'll have a look later -
Doesn't he also have a Warwick sig too?
-
Did you forget the price dude?

I had someone approach me after a show congratulating the band on plying thin lizzys jailbreak.
He told us that he appreciated it especially since he was in the band for a little while.
At this point I'm wondering since he doesn't look like anyone I recognise.
He buys us all a drink and whispers in my ear that he is actually midge ure.
This guy was easily twice the size of midge, and was totally bald.
We all laughed along until we left and had the 'can you believe it!' talk outside -
Aren't Daniel Radcliffe and Gary Oldman bass men too?
Hulk hogan?
Keanu reeves? -
Bought a catch o matic grabby stand from David.
Thoroughly simple transaction.
He's fantastic at packaging too! It took me at least 15 mins to get it unwrapped!!
Yet another basschat good guy.
