Very entertaining so far.
And it seems I'm not the only one spotting gear!
I particularly enjoyed the Tudor version of ymca -
Thanks mate.
Unfortunately I'm looking for something with a little more padding. -
Why thank you kind sir.

Forgot to update after the bass show-
I got to try both at the west side booth at the show. They had provided headphones to check te pedals out amongst the slappy pissing contest, and I discovered that the chorus sounds great but suffers with a lot of noise over the sound, although would probably go unnoticed in a mix, and the overdrive is very very dark.
I'm going to try them both again in a better environment, since I'm a bit of an mxr fanboy, and really want to like them -
What degree of padding is there mate?

Hi mate,
What's the minimum output load? -
My copy showed up on Monday. My boys (4 and 2) and I have been loving it. I've been reliving my childhood, and they're discovering "Eddie" for te first time.
Just bought my download tix yesterday for the Saturday which will be maiden gig number 20, and I think headline donington number 5?

The Mooer shimverb has a shimmer setting

That's the fella he used on tuesday

It definitely looked like one of the newer sig models. Sounded bloody awesome!
-
It really was a fantastic show.
He still has that fire that set maiden apart. even on a tiny ( by his standards!) stage he totally owns it!

Bought a book from Andy.
Could not have wished for an easier deal.
Cheers mate -
If only!
Just the pint I'm afraid!
J/k it's the British lion tour! -
Going to see Steve tonight in islington.
That is all -
My current pubby rock band board. Rehearsing at the mo, and trying to fun the right drive sounds!

I really enjoyed last train home by Andy summers, and life by Keith Richards.
Lemmys was very good, as was the cliff burton book written by the editor of bgm ( if only bgm was as good!)
The rudy Sarzo book- off the rails, which deals with rudys time with randy rhoads was excellent. I'd love to read the rest of rudys life story though.
I also really enjoyed kiss and make up and sex money kiss both by gene simmons -
If it is just a 5th up ( I'm no tool fan- never really listened to them!) there is the boss ps6 which could be set to gliss to a fifth up or down at the press of the switch.
Iirc the whammy 4 will do a fifth move as a harmony, but a slide would have to be done by ear on the octave slide setting -
Some interest already in what remains.
And bump -

I have a tu2, pitchblack, and polytune mini
The only thing the poly mini doesn't support with regard to bass is the polyphonic tuning. Single string stuff is still perfect. I use this one for my function and pub bands
For one of my bands I use the pitchblack, as it has a courtesy 9v out, and I can use that for an extra pedal
The tu2 is my back up. Still a great tuner though -
Sold Graeme a Mooer pedal.
I could not have asked for an easier deal.
A thoroughly nice chap too.
Cheers mate -
Sold Ian a micro q tron.
Nice easy deal. Great communication, and a thoroughly nice chap too
Cheers

Thanks Andy.
This is not a permanent board but just part of my feeling out the drives I need for the songs and Sound of a new band i'm in the process of putting together.
