    One afternoon spent in Bass Direct. What a shop Mark has. So helpful and let me put my grubby mitts on anything I asked. Some very nice basses in stock but that Kingston Super 5.....

    I've been  very quiet as of late. I've gone profoundly deaf in the right ear due to an infection & have not gigged or undertook any music work in weeks. I've got an exploitative operation tomorrow & my first gig in months Saturday. Look after your ear health.

      Ha! :) Big thumpiness, great growliness and unprecedented burpiness. Can have both pickups up full without interfering with each other. Articulate, powerful and punchy. Very much like an active bass - only, er... it's passive. Also very affordable.
