5. Does it have a microphone input option like the micro cube? Doesn't appear so but thought I would ask anyway....

7. For sale are these Sony ZX300 headphones which I have owned for less than 24 hours. They are a decent set of Sony's with good all-round specs: TYPE: Closed-type supra-aural Dynamic Type: YES Circum Aural Type: NO Capacity (mW): 1000 Driver unit (mm): 30 (Dome Type) Diaphragm: PET Frequency (Hz): 10 - 24,000 Sensitivity (dB/mW): 102 Magnet: Neodymium Impedance (Ohm): 24 Volume control: NO Cord type: Both-sided Cord length (m): 1.2 Plug: Gold-plated L-shaped Stereo Mini Weight (g): 120 Ordered them from the internet, opened them up and realised they are a bit too big for me to be wearing out and about. Absolutely fine for wearing inside the house in my opinion. Would send them back for a refund but unfortuantly I have opened the packaging. Thought someone on here might appreciate them more than me. Currently going for £18 on Play (which is a good price) so I am looking for £12 posted mainland UK. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or queries. Thanks for looking Feedback can be found here
8. Kenny bought a Gotoh bridge from me. Fast payment, good communications and a breeze to do business with. Nice guy to boot. Would definitely deal with him again. Buy/ sell in confidence!
9. For sale is a chrome Gotoh 201 with it's original box which is surplus to requirements. Bought it a few months ago, tried it out for a couple of days and then reverted back to my Badass II which worked better with my short-scale. Put it aside in case I wanted to use it on another bass in the future but unfortuantley it looks like I won't be getting another one anytime soon. It's in mint condition, no rust or scratches, just a little bit of dust so I am selling it as new. Would make a perfect upgrade for cheaper bridges to brighten up and articulate the tone. Please excuse the quality of the pics - I only have my iphone to hand. Looking for £30 delivered to mainland UK addresses. I have sold other items on Basschat and have plenty of positive feedback as a buyer/seller. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or queries. Thanks for looking - Cieran
10. EDIT.................Putting these back up for sale as I never had any takers last time. Let me know if these float your boat............ As the title says I am selling 1 pack of Pyramid short scale strings which I have owned for less than a day. Ordered them from Thomann in germany as i was looking for an alternative to the D'addario's I am currently using. They are a good quality nickel string but after stringing them up on my short-scale bass I realised that they are too heavy for my weak guitarists fingers! The heavier gauge is perfect for shorter scale basses as they provide the same amount of tension that you would find on a regular/ long scale. Here's what the blurb says on the back of the pack: "Pure Nickel Round Wound on Steel. Pyramid superior quality pure nickel roundwounds deliver a warm, singing tone and are especially appealing to the fretless player wanting a full, round tone" As I said I ordered them from Thomann in germany as they can't be bought anywhere in the UK and they cost £27 including shipping - I am looking for £17 including postage. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or queries. Cheers, Cieran
11.
MB1. Hello Cieran Great Straps these! especially if you have a heavier bass,Very Comfortable, still got my other one! Buy with Confidence! BUMP!
Thanks Martin They are indeed a very good strap - just doesn't get used enough with my short-scale (you can tell i used to be a guitarist before moving into the world of bass!)
12. EDIT.................Putting this back up for sale as I never had any takers last time. Let me know if you're interested....... Great condition - bought from user MB1 (Martin) a few weeks ago. Virtually new and the only signs of wear are where strap-locks were used. Great little comfortable strap but just not for me. Bought for £20 of Martin so looking for the same. Cheers!
13. Wow that's quite a makeover! I tried lacquering the body of my lil Grestch shortie but after a months drying time i went to buff it using sandpaper and the bloody stuff rubbed off! I couldn't be bothered to do it again so i sanded it right back and stained the wood instead. How long did you wait for the lacquer before attempting to polish it? Doe's the denim affect the acoustic properties at all?
14.
Its a Vox. The closest model i can find is the panther So maybe its a slight variation on it, or he after-marketed'd a pickup into it (or the original owner).
Thanks for getting back to me about this. I think you're right about it being a Vox - there is an excellent resource for vintage Vox's here: http://www.voxshowroom.com/us/guitar/bass_guitar_index.html I love the bass in your avatar - what is it out of interest? All the best, Cieran
