1. needs repairing :)
ok this is 18 months old & in very good condition.appart from the fact it doesn't actually work,GK speaker lead included
i think the crossover is buggered, the speaker looks to be ok-but i'm no expert.
i could do with shifting this on, as i'm buying a 4x10,& it seems pointless to get it fixed only to sell it.
whats it worth,£50 i reckon.
i won't ship it but will meet somewhere in the harrogate/area.

2.
Speakons are better than 1/4 in jacks but to suggest jacks are NFG or fragile is ridiculous. Speakons lock so anyone tripping over a lead is either gonna pull the cable from the plug or pull your amp off the top of your cab so keep your leads short! If you have a rig with speakons and jacks then it makes sense to use speakons cos they is better, but to decide not to buy something cos it only has jacks is dumb.
dumb-thats me then :)

3.
dont worry artisan - you'll love the 3pro!

I hooked up to my 2 x svt410 yesterday and man it rocked! I could just as easily part with the remainder of my gear!

Loads of scope for sound and tuning - for me its simply does what it says on the box!

enjoy

thanks Andy :)
can't wait to use it in rehersal

4. hi i was looking at an ampeg B410HLF but they don't have speakon's,the SVT410HLF looks promising but its bloody dear but does have speakons.does it make any difference if i use speakon or 1/4 jacks-i actually have a speaker lead with one of each-would i actually notice the difference?.
i really need a 4ohm as i can't fit 2 cabs in the car & would like to unleash the extra power in my amp.

5.
Double check your cables....... always the weakest part in any chain...... also on some of the GK cab's, depending which model you have.... you can run them Bi-Amp so make sure your not just running the HF... you'll need to use all four pins of the speakon connector to get control over both the tweeter and woofers

Oh yeah and GK is distributed in the UK by Beyerdynamic.
thanks for the info.i tried with my GK head (actually not mine anymore) & also tried it with my new ampeg + new speaker lead-with cab set to full range-& ziltch.
as for warranty its over 12 months old so out of warranty period.
i might just flog it cheap as repairable-if anyone's interested-& buy an ampeg cab.

6. thanks guys.yes i've checked for loose wires etc & all looks well but i'm not good with electrickery so i'll get it checked out first.
as for the speaker i think i'll probably go the neo route, maybee a 500w 4ohm & just bin the horn, but your probably right the cross over is most lilkey.i took the speaker out & it looks fine (to a numpty like me anyway)
:)

7. :) ;) ;) ;)
all PM'S replied too.
its sort of sold-just waiting for one of the many potential buyers to confirm etc.
i knew i should have put it up for £300
oh well we're all mates here i reckon & if you can't do your mates a favour then its a bad job.

btw its first come first served-so don't hang about the first p.m. confirming sale & payment gets this too bloody cheap head.

+ thanks guys
Neil.
8.
I have a b410hlf 4ohm 450watt cab in new condition for sale..£300, works incredibly well with the 3pro.

andy
cheers-if i can raise any cash i may just but that of you-thanks

9.
If you bought the amp from a shop, why don't you just take it back again and explain the situation. You are perfectly entitled to do so within 14 days without any quibble. Even if you bought from the internet.
hehe
always wanted an Ampeg but the missus said they were too expensive.
but thanks any way Dood

10.
I recently bought a 4ohm 15" Neo replacement speaker by Celestion from a place called Lean business. Put it in my Hartke XL cab to replace the blown Hartke speaker and it works a treat! And it's probably a bit smoother than the old one.

Only about 60 odd quid as well.
cheers i'll try to find a web address for them-unless you know it.
