Superb quality instruments. My wife was very tempted by a double neck Chimera, which was for sale in Windmill Guitars. As has been said, carbon fibre construction. I believe the company diversified from manufacturing of other specialist CF products and have invested heavily in their guitar manufacturing process. Wife still lifts the Chimera down for a play every time we are in the shop.

Ordinarily, I would agree with you, but the headphones I’m looking at are available with 32, 80 and 250 ohms. I spoke with Orange last week and they had no specs, however, their technical chap is to measure them tomorrow, which is great service. I’ll post when I hear from them, as others may find the information helpful. D

I’m looking to buy a pair of headphones for practice. Does someone know the headphone output impedance of this amplifier, so I can correctly match headphones? I’ve checked the manual and nothing there. Cheers D

Depending on how deep your pockets are, Townshend manufacture isolation bars and platforms, available in various sizes and loadings. They do work and can take big weights. If you’re handy with DIY, there’s a self build thread on Hifi Wigwam. D

Spooky that this thread should come to the top. Just looking at T Bird pros at the moment. Unfortunately, based where I am, there are no Epiphone dealers, so a bit of guidance would be great. Main bass is a Yamaha 734, so my question is, playing wise, how would the T Bird compare to this? Cheers D
