1. Was wondering if you'd recommend this luthier of yours. Is he local to Sheffield?
 2. WOW! I've just got back from the most amazing time of my entire life! Traveled all over. Played with and met the most amazing people! Done the most amazing things! I'd certainly recommend touring with a big band if you get the chance. You just have to advertise yourself. Get yourself known. Simon gets a lot of bad press, I know, but he really looks after you, is very positive and encouraging. Now a good friend. Will get photos up as soon as I've got some well earned spachka.

 4.
i've pmed him
I PM'd him earlier this month. No reply.
 5.
Wrong............
Well, you're interested enough to ask and keep posting on this thread, so, evidence would suggest otherwise.
 6.
What a pointless OP
What a pointless post.
 7.
So, do you want to tell us what your point is? When i say "us", that is assuming anyone is actually really interested??
I would deduce from this post that someone is interested.
 8.
Hi Macmellus, I know a band looking for a bassist. I can't remember what they are called though. Or where they are based. Or what type of music they play. Or how old they are all are. Or how to contact them. They are holding auditions somewhere, sometime next week. Good luck!
I'm THERE!111
 9.
D'Addario halfwounds are ground. Not too keen on the D'Addario halfwounds. Not ground quite enough for me. May try the pressure wounds. Have you tried them?
 10. So I used to buy Ground Wound strings and was very happy with them. Now I can only get Half Rounds. I'm not happy with them. Many places (on the interweb) say they're the same thing, but one place says that, while Ground wounds are ground Round Wounds, Half Rounds have an oval shaped winding. Is this so? Does anyone work for a string company? Where might I purchase proper Ground Round Wound strings? Thanks , M.
 11. Okay. I'll let you into a secret. It's all slightly tongue in cheek.
 12. Well, I prefer to deal with more honest people.

 14.
what kinda things are you WANTING to do? how old are you? what gear do you have? how do you play (fingers, pick, slap, pop, blah, blah)? Are you looking for a band, or just one-off gigs, or a tour, or what? You should have put more details in your post there. ~ Lowell
Okay. I want to go on a world tour, all over the world. Never you mind. Bass, amp , speaker and leads. I think this is a question you should ask your teacher. I refer you to the answer I gave to the first question.
