Sorry to hijack but along the same lines, anyone know of a good bass bag but for a thunderbird?

Went and bought mine from GAK today. I only went in to see have a browse and see if they were in stock and then there they were laid out looking gorgeous.. It was begging for a play so I obliged. Seeing the sunburst finish in the flesh made me like it less so it was a clear run for the black for me. I have to say I am very happy with it, it looks lovely and does sound nice and growly. Speaking to the guy there he reckoned they had just got six black ones in stock recently and had sold four today alone so with me rushing back just before they closed after deciding I "needed" it they should now have one! It'll gets its first road test next week for a gig.

Went up to London to play a gig last night and ended up playing to four people. Nevermind, the accordion I bought today made up for it!

I tried both when looking for a new budget bass. I tried the 60's CV P Bass and the VM P Bass (white one) I also threw in a Mexican to the comparison and did this on two separate occasions in two different shops and although I preferred the VM to the Mexican, I thought tone wise 60's CV blew the VM away so I immediately bought one You are right about the weight of them though, its a bit like playing a toy bass!

Sweet, I've been considering this for a little while and the choice from the Ebay Belgium shop is limited to say the least..

Whats the general idea for this day then?

Hello all, given I've been a member for a couple of weeks now and have spent most of my time lurking on the marketplace pages it probably about time I introduced myself! I live in brighton and have been playing bass for around four years now. I'm into a variety of music from stoner rock/doom through to punk, ska, thrash and anything with a good pacy bassline! I play a squier CV 60's P Bass which I am loving at the moment so much so that I am on the hunt for a reasonably priced CV Jazz bass now! (hint hint!) I've also got my trusty Ibanez SRX400 which has been with me since the beginning of my musical adventure but it may soon be the time to move that on in order to afford some other stuff! Anyone who knows the going rate for one of these badboys would most definitely go up in my estimation if they could let me know as searching around has provided very limited results! So yeah.. hey!
