Traded a bass with Vedran.
Communication was fast and effective.
Kept in touch the whole time, and from start to finish i think the whole deal took a week.
I'd have no issues striking up a deal with Vedran again.
Thanks! -

Bought this off here recently.Great bass, superbly made, and in excellent condition. But i cant get on with the string spacing. So im going to put it back up for someone else to have a blast with.
Ibanez 4 string P Bass Medium Scale + case
Its great condition for a bass made in 1982 with barely a mark to be seen.
All original and sounds great. Not a "Small bass sound".
Nice action, truss rod fine.
Length from bridge to nut = 83cm
Weight = 4kg
Original Ibanez fitted case included.
Would be interested in trades for a Jazz

I enjoy watching Vulfpecks gigs much more than just listening.
Don't really know why, but i get a little bored when it's just the music after a little while.
Not knocking any of them, they're obviously phenomenal musicians. -
Ive had a request to split these.
So if someone wants just the one, let me know.

Thanks Tony, i agree.
Awesome cabs. -
"All the kings horses" would have been the name of the band i'm in were i not vetoed.
"Thrill of the chase"
"The Conscious club"
Are two others i liked.

I bought a Aria Precise bass from Adrian.
Really simple transaction.
Wouldnt hesitate to buy/sell to him again
Thanks mate -

Two mint condition TKS S112s.
They've lived their whole life in their cases, and honestly i don't think there is a single mark on them.
They sound great.
These have a few upgrades on the standard spec, so i paid £950 for them with the covers, although i'm informed the price has risen since i bought them.
They are fantastic sounding cabs, very sensitive, very punchy, very articulate, as i'm sure anyone who has used them will confirm, but you are welcome to bring your own amp and bass and give them a blast at my house.
As you can see in the last photo, in certain lighting the grills can look a different colour...I like it
Power handling (high average power test signal): 250 W RMS
Recommended amplifier power: 150-300 W RMS @ 8 Ω
Sensitivity[average]: 99 dB SPL @ 1W/1m
Sensitivity[100Hz]: 98 dB SPL @ 1W/1m
Sensitivity[max]: 103 dB SPL @ 1,5 kHz, 1W/1m
Frequency response (-10db): 46 Hz – 4,8 kHz
Displacement: 237 cm³
Measurements (WxHxD): 52x38x33 cm
Weight: 10 kg
I'm selling because i want a "all in one" type solution.
Something at 4ohms.
Will look at trades on these, but only something that will run at 4 ohms, and is pretty lightweight.
I would really prefer not to courier, so you can try them.
But we can hopefully sort something out.
Any questions, give me a shout.

I wouldn’t call £150 a “give it away” type of transaction. £150 is a lot of money to some people.
Say a bass had been for sale for 6 months for £300, and someone offered £150, that’s a perfectly fair offer considering it’s half of the asking price and lack there of a sale.
Personally, if you don’t ask, you don’t get. I’ve took losses on basses & guitars in the past and also made offers which have successfully been accepted.
My Fodera YYS was for sale at £3000 for nearing a year, sold for £2300 in the end. But if you want something sold, you have to compromise, all the idiots on eBay with basses for sale high above their price tag think they’ll get what they’re asking, but they wont. Which is why they stay for sale for two or three years until being withdrawn.
So basically a offer of 75% of your original price.
Where the £150 was 50% of original price.
Even your Fodera is a lot more money overall, its a smaller percentage "loss" on your advertised price, no?
I think Basschat is pretty good for selling/ buying tbh.
Far prefer this site to any others -
Nice Lew
Really enjoyed that.- 1

I play in a band that has keys, sax, and guitar. We aren't quiet.
Play mostly weddings. And i play with a MarkBass LM2 and a single TKS S112.
I'm the only part of the band that doesn't go through our RCF PA, and i'm fine. I don't need to go louder.
I don't think the issue is the Walkabout isn't loud enough. I think the issue is everyone wants to be too loud, and/or are probably too high in the mix

Yeh ive played both.
Both basses were really well made. That almost goes without saying at that price point.
The Sei basses were the best basses ive ever played though.
So if it were between the two for me, i'd get a Sei -

Good advice from @chris_b.
There was a pair of TKS 112s going for sale on here a little while ago for a very reasonable price - I think they may still be available. Really great cabs made in Sweden. @mcnach and @wateroftyne can confirm!
Me too.
I use 2 X S112s. Great cabs.
Ive gone to move them on in the past, then realised the mistake i was making.
