  1. This is a power supply for pedals giving 8x 9 volt supplies, and 2 x18volt., It is centre negative so should fit most pedals but always check. Its been unpacked but nevr used. My apologies I cant get all the items into the individual boxes so I will send them seperately but in the same parcel. Those folks in the factories must have nimble fingers.

  2. This is a great amp pair, I loved it.

It was in mint condion when I regretfully sold it and I would bet its in the same or similar condition . Zitherman looks after his gear.

It was a dream of mine, to get that sort of spec and colour, and it was arguably the best amp I had in nearly 60 years of playing.

I had the recovering done not because anything was wrong with it but because I had always wanted that combination, which wasnt available in europe so its rare as .

It cost me nearly £400 to have it recovered without the spare grill cover.

I replaced the stockvalves after talking to Watford valves with what they suggested were the best valves for that amp and they were not cheap. The originals are included

I had Hot Covers made for both amp and cab,

I even replaved the crappy plastic Fender handle with a hand stiched leather one.

You would be hard pressed to find another amp to that speck and its never been ragged.

Its an absoluyte steal at that price.

  3. This is a Made in USA G&l in Gorgeous Cherry sunburst. It is pristine, The only mark I can find is a tiny mark by the top strap button.

Comes with a G&L hard case and case candy

Was Set up and fret dressed by Mansons in 2018 and has hardly been played since

Has two MFD Humbucking pickups, can be run active or passive, and a really substantial bridge

Weighs in at as a hair over 9lbs.

Collection only or I would be prepared to drive a reasonable distance and deliver. I dont want to ship.

    Blurb from G&L

When Leo Fender† launched the G&L L•2000™ bass in 1980, it was clear he was ready to make history all over again. Never before had such a wide range of tones come from a single bass, and throughout its evolution the iconic L•2000 has continued to win the hearts of bassists of every style and musical taste.

The foundation of the L•2000 is a pair of G&L Magnetic Field Design™ humbuckers backed by the flexible Tri-Tone™ control system, providing the sort of versatility that’ll let you find your tone no matter what kind of bass line you’re laying down. The Tri-Tone system features a trio of mini toggles for pickup selection, series/parallel signal routing and active/passive operation, as well as a trio of knobs for volume, treble and bass. With all that under the hood, Leo gave the L•2000 the kind of chops that’ll fit in any situation, from classic R&B to power-packed rock to poppin’ funk. What’s more, the L•2000 features an innovative Leo Fender-designed Saddle-Lock™ bridge to transfer string energy right into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument. On the other end is a comfortable, C-shaped neck checking in with a comfortable 9 1/2″ radius and 21 Jescar 57110 medium-jumbo nickel-silver frets ready to deliver silky playability.

Made in Leo Fender’s historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the L•2000 is available with a wide range of custom options including body and neck woods, body and neck finishes, and neck profiles.

Founded by Leo Fender in 1980, G&L USA instruments continue to be made in the historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the Birthplace of Bolt-on™.

Based on that admittedly limited experience, I think the PJB would be fine for home use and probably OK for gigs with a couple of acoustic guitars and vocal PA. I can't see it working in our six-piece rock band without going through the PA.

    I gig with an C8  which I can supplement with either 1 or 2 C4s  giving 8,12 or 16 x5 speakers.

I normally take a C8 and a C4, with a blackstar amp, Im not keep on the PJB digitals

I can cope easily with 2 loud guitarisr and a drummer.

I used to have a m500 which I foolishly sold, and would replace if I could find one.

The Blackstar Unity is probably in pole position at the moment, good price too.  Anyone got any experience of these? Any negatives?

I bought a unity after using one in a rehearsal room.

Great Tone, the built in chorus and octaver are a waste of space, and it needs a mute button.

I wanted to to save weight, so tried a lot of the class Ds. I had tried a couple of Phil Jones digitals,  A Mesa D800, A TC electronics, a fender Rumble 800 and didnt really like any of them.

Im not sure if the the Blackstar is a class D as its heavier than some of the others, but still quite light. Sounds Great.

Nearly forgot. The Bassman 800 which is a valve preaamp and a class d power amp sounds great.

  6. I was the original owner of this. As far as I know its unique in the UK as there wasnt  the cream covering as an option. I persuaded Zilla to strip and recover and make  new speaker grills. They did a job better than the factory and it wasnt cheap..

I loved the sound and really regret selling it. I have seriously thought about buying it back but I have to be realistic about what a pensioner can cary

Zitherman is a great guy to deal with and this is a stunning amp.

I don’t know that I’d like to own a bass so clearly linked with someone else, someone I never met or knowingly listened to. It wouldn’t feel like mine (investment argument aside of course)

As a lifelong shadows fan, he was a pioneer but he wasnt the original bass player , and he was only with the Shadows 2 years,  Jet Harris was my Shadows icon from the 60s.

I wouldnt pay 10K for a precision anyway, but you couldnt prise mine away from me  for that, cos Ive had it for over 50 years and its been used and abused, ,

but it still part of my life.

  8. I have a made in USA SB2 and its great once you get used to the 2 vol knobs.

I am a P Bass user and I bought a tribute  LB 100 and its great, it plays well, the pick up is really punchy.

It is on a stand in my little music room and it usually the first thing I pick up if I want to play something.

Mines a natural and the fit and finish is top notch
