1. Hi all... not strictly a sale... i'm at that point AGAIN... need a jazz bass... I've got a Trace Elliott T-Bass 5 (No 265, White with single ply shell plate).... anyone interested in a swap for a Fender USA 5 String (all five tuners on one side..clover buttons, not whale tail) PASSIVE Jazz Bass? The T-Bass electrics were designed for Trace by Status (who are now doing a Carbon neck reissue). It's in good overall nick., one or two body dents, nothing major, and has the original Trace gig bag (very rare). I've changed the tuners for Clover Button versions but the originals are included (no mods were necessary to do this). If anyone is interested i can mail you pics....I'll try and get some up anyway later in the week. If interested feel free to bell me on 07779 718 119. Andy

5. The 'V' is STUNNING.... as above ...who made it?
6. I use mine with one matching 4x10..I'm told i don't need any more...a 1x18 under it would be good though... sorry to be trite but AWESOME is the only way to describe this amp... Andy
7. Hi, lovely looking bass...can i just double check it's a USA model, it's just that it usually says Made in USA on the headstock decal... Thanks Andy

9. What can you say...STUNNING...doesn't matter what it cost 'cause you've got it....and i don't fantastic Andy
10. Thanks all, Bernie tends to pick Knobs etc based on the look of the bass, so they tend to vary, the string spacing is 19mm at the bridge (same as a Jazz) and it's 35" scale. Bernie likes to make them 'individual' so there are nuances in almost every one. Not cheap and a fair wait..but...if you know someone with one, try it and you'll see what the fuss is about, although wide, the neck is really slim with a low, low action. I live in Edinburgh and work in Glasgow...anyone thinking of getting one and wanting to try it, give me a bell. 07779 718 119 Andy

14. Hi there, tried a Trace T-Bass? They were made for trace by Rob Green through Status, basically S1 electrics on a Jazz style body with the Ergonomic tuners (offset head). Imagine a Status that plays like a Jazz...... Theres on on the Bay at the moment if you want a look, i've got a 5 (serial No 265) white body, plain (no dots) Pau ferro board (brass side inserts), single layer vintage tortoiseshell plate, one up for grabs well under £800..I you like the look i can send pix. It comes with the original Trace Elliot gig bag. Rob is re-issuing them as Status models with a Graphite neck so you could also look on the Status site. That also means any spares are readily available again. if you do want pix you can bell me on 07779 718 119. Good luck however it all pans out... Andy

Hi all

Hi there, at the moment I'm playing mainly with late 60's early 70's band String Driven Thing (http://www.stringdriventhing.co.uk)and with a female vocalist Linda Jackson (Jazzy /bluesy). I use the Goodfellow with an Acoustic 371 rig. Thanks fro saying hi, what you guys up to? Andy
16. Hi there, the driver is a Fane Studio 7 Series unit, this was standard in the single 15's of the mid to late 80's. There was wadding in some of the earlier big boxes (8x10, 1812 etc) but they ditched it around series 3. Top class driver and dead right for the box. If you need a replacement, the Unit to use is an Emminence Pro series 300W unit with the cast chassis. Andy

My Bass

Hi this is THE ONE...IMHO... Andy
18. Hello, main bass is a Goodfellow (GB Guitars) Rumour 6 Fretless in Burr Thuya..(see my Avatar pic), also Yamaha TRB6P and Trace Elliot T-Bass 5.
19. Hi there, one of my students bought one about a month ago, the neck is a bit 'clubby' but not out of order, seems to be fantastic value for the money. Good luck. Andy
20. Hi there, not that long ago i took possession of my Rumor 6 Fretless (see the pic opposite). Cheap it's not...BUT..it blows away anything I've played (and I'm 50 and been gigging since '72). This is the best..bar none...(and I'm not on commish). Honestly , if you get the chance play one, if not, a trip to Brighton is well worth the effort. Thanks Bernie.
