If only this was in the UK to try. I had an opportunity to buy one last year but had to pass, and it haunts me. GLWTS. Beautiful bass ✨

Truly very sad news. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. His presence will be missed here in the shire. RIP Nick, and safe journey 🙏🏻😞

That is beautiful, and so much better with the 34” scale length. GLWTS 🤩

Did this finally sell? I hope so ✨

Watched this earlier and thoroughly loved it. What a wonderful interview, great insight, and what a decent, honest and amazing player. Loved it. Will be watching again 🫡✨

That is stunning. Such a shame you are letting this go as well. If I had the cash, I’d be over there now. GLWTS mate. At that price, it shouldn’t stay around too long ✨

Has anyone used one of these in “anger” i.e. live? I don’t want to go the full digital/in ears route, and I don’t want a pedal board with things I may want to swap out, but I do want an amp setup with something that has the pedal options, plus a patch for an amp/cab/DI sim if anything went wrong with the amp setup.
I just can’t find one to try, and I’m torn between this and going the whole hog with a Quad Cortex. Not a fan of the Line6 stuff, which was the next logical step.
All insights gratefully received. Cheers gang ☺️✨

Wow. I must admit the initial prices are always high and then you get the "reasonable" prices as they all start undercutting each other but that quote seems really high.
Will non of the major delivery companies,DPD, DHL etc., do the job?
I only got one quote 👀😂 -
Hi, yes I did. Came in at £148. Thanks for the reply. Appreciated ✨

Hi BC Gang,
Happy New Year. I require some help if at all possible. There a bass cabinet that I would love to buy, but it’s based in Blyth, Northumberland and I’m based in Penarth, South Wales.
I wonder if there are any BC’ers based in and around Blyth that travel to the Midlands for whatever reason? If so, and you find yourself having to travel to the Midlands, could we possibly chat about collecting said cabinet, and meeting me so I can collect it please? I will of course cover some costs incurred plus, buy you a coffee and bun when we meet, plus have my eternal gratitude.
I know it’s a long shot, but I’ve tried delivery companies and the cheapest so far is £148, and for me, it’s a 12 hour round trip so quite cost prohibitive too.
Thanks for reading, and take care. Cheers, Matt ✨

It now says "pending" (and it is not me). Did one from here get it? If yes, then congrats! You scored the Spector deal of the century. A NS-2 (EMG Xs, Haz 9V, gloss finish) sans crown inlays in mint condition (at least when I sold it 4 months ago, home use only) for £2k? 2k?!? That's less than what a Euro costs and not much more than a Korean made Dimension. Man, as I said, deal of the century!
Unfortunately not me again. -
Thank you for this wonderfully well presented thread. I’ve been through so many pre amps for recording, and none of them have really ever done the job I’ve wanted them to do. They all have characteristics that I like but are not the whole package. Also, some of them are so ridiculously priced. Anyway, I digress, this thread is what I needed to read. Going to order the Digbeth now. Thanks again ✨
